Description
This is a very interesting and useful book ''Life in 3 Dimensions'' published in Spain in the Russian Language. The author of this book, Yuri S. Naumov, was very famous at that time being the elected mayor of the city but unassigned of Komsomolsk on Amur in Far Eastern Russia.
The leader of the trade union business who was repressed by the Russian government and rehabilitated after several years in Jail during the Soviet time, the person actively participated in the political and economic life of the region during ''damn 90th'' and nowadays lives in Spain, took on the liberty, time and labour to tell about time and events which he was involved in firsthand.
The book richly illustrated with photos, and never before published documents, decisions made by the incompetent authorities and other evidence about author's words. Naumov Yuri. S. somewhat messy but always consistently, sometimes subjectively describes and evaluates economic collapse in the country, prison and thieves mayhem, gives examples of corruption, embezzlement, nepotism and moral decay, injustice and unfairness, which boils down to the Russian mafia.
He does not hide the black colours in evaluation of official's actions, some of them are not with us anymore but many still pursue their careers. Many facts described by Naumov can cause nothing but resentment and most likely should interest law enforcements agencies than the ordinary reader. Anyway with all above mentioned shortcomings we cannot ignore this Naumov's work just on one reason-it waves the obligation to tell how he lived in the Khabarovsk region before the commencent of all works planned to upgrade the town started. Moreover the author managed to illustrate the majority of disgusting facts of life, which became a reason to the creation and justification of today's and future political struggle of ''Yabloko'' party.
The particular interest in the book is how the author built his business in Spain and the the official's attitude he had to deal with. And the comparison here was not in the favour of the Russian social-democratic, and rather bureaucratic system.
