Brian knew work in the oil industry was filled with risks. But, he was not prepared for what happened when he stepped off the plane in Chad.Â
He had felt something was wrong when he got on a mostly empty flight, but he was still recovering from an illness that had already delayed his return to the oil field.
Once in Chad everything at the airport is in chaos and nobody from the company comes to meet his flight. Brian quickly discovers that Chad has erupted into a full-scale civil war in few days since he last contacted his boss. Now, he’s trapped in Chad and on his own.
Brian has to make his way to safety while watching out for crocodile attacks, protecting himself against malaria, and avoiding both the rebels and the government forces who both suspect him of working for other side.
Brian realizes he has to get out of Chad and across the border to Cameroon fast. Who can he trust? Will his company help him get out? Will he even live long enough to find out how his company could have forgotten him?Â
