Joshua: Faith Companion of Moses (Moses Before The Exodus Book 4)

The first three novels of the Series, Moses Before the Exodus, chart the life of Moses from birth to shortly after his experience at the burning bush. At this time he is 80 years old. In order to utilize the flavor of the first three book, and to avoid being a repeat of the material on the Exodus in the Bible, the 4th and final book of this series describes the events of the Exodus through the eyes of Joshua, hence the title, Joshua, Faithful Companion of Moses. The account begins with Joshua (known as Hoshea, his birth name) returning from an Army assignment. Niger explains that Moses is meeting with the Pharaoh for a release of the Israelite slaves from Goshen. Joshua becomes part of that action. He commits himself to serve Moses through the adventures of the Exodus. The slaves leave Egypt, first traveling through the desert and then to the crossing of the Red Sea. Several events later, Joshua leads a mission to spy on the lands promised to the people by El Shaddai, the Divinity of the Hebrews. There is a plan for a supplement to follow this book composed of short discussions of biblical themes originating in the time of Moses.
