How To Leave Your Life

A Fictional thriller. The novel is humorous, dark, and honest. There are scenes of sex and violence - but also silliness. The main characters are partners working for the Police in a seaside town in the North of England.
Yesh and Emily are a joking, playful double-act, coasting through life and work. They reluctantly open a cold-case. The investigation accidently gives them all the excitement and opportunity they thought had passed them by, one last chance to make their mark and to be taken seriously. But the information they discover threatens to destroy every single significant relationship they have ever made, in both love and life. The moral choices they make could turn out to be the final choices that they ever make.
Influenced by Scandinavian drama, the films of David Lean and other British classics such as the Wicker Man.
