A sermon, delivered at the installation of the Morning-Star Lodge, of Free Masons, in East-Windsor, Connecticut, August 21, 1794
Description
""Solomon built him a house. Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands, as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth my footstool." God is not confined to place or bounds. The house was intended for the worshippers of Jehovah, in which to meet and present their religious homage. The magnificence of the building, which was one of the wonders of the world, was designed by the pious builders to bear a faint resemblance of the glory of the Being worshipped there."
