Description
The Henry Scott family owns a music store in the little city of Ceilig. Right next to their store is a clothing store owned by the rich and powerful Fred McAdams. Not only is Fred McAdams active in city politics, but he is on the council of the church attended by the Scotts. Wherever he is, he tries to run the show and he has a lot of followers.
If Fred McAdams doesn’t get his way, his revenge seems to have no limits. As a matter of fact, he apparently once tried to kill one of his political foes, though nobody can know for sure what was going through his mind when he shoved the drunken man into the swimming pool and walked away. He wants to buy the Scott Music Center, though the Scotts are not willing to sell. Should the Scotts be looking over their shoulders?
And what about the church? Are they supposed to let Fred McAdams make them all miserable for the rest of their lives? Will Fred someday make a mistake that will finally bring him down?
