The Apple Indians
Description
Hershell Frogg has returned to Arrowhead Springs, North Carolina, after he gets word that his father, Buddy Ray Frogg, the former mayor of the town, has died. Hershell inherits the top of a mountain considered sacred to the local Indians. With the help of his estranged wife, his third cousin, and an Indian legend, Hershell leads a fight to save the Mountain from developers. To save it, Hershell must first raise the money to pay the back taxes on his land. He finds that saving the Mountain is more difficult than he anticipated; he has to clear one obstacle after another, some put in his way by the developers, the others inadvertently created by Hershell himself.
