📖 Description
Sophie and Sam have been together for years. They met when they were in school and had been inseparable ever since. The only problem is that over the years, Sam hadn’t turned into everything Sophie had hoped he would be. Then on her 22nd birthday her life changes-a huge storm hits the small coast town that she lives in and it’s more than just wet sand that it leaves behind. Soon a bitter disappointment leads to a sweet surprise when a Highlander from the past appears and Sophie realizes that sometimes you have to take a chance if you ever truly want to be happy.
Over the course of the next few days Sophie watches as her world falls apart. She is betrayed, humiliated and torn apart, but with the help of her new Highlander friend she finds out that sometimes the things we need are not the intangibles we want.
Then just as things are working out with the mysterious time traveller, she finds herself losing the one person who reminds her what it means to live. As she finds herself rushing against the clock to help her new friend, he gives her an offer- come with me and we can never be together forever. Sophie doesn’t know what to do and with time running out she needs to make her choice fast. What will she do and will she risk everything on the chance of happiness?
