Supply chemistry teacher Daniel Brier arrives at Fairweather School & Sixth Form feeling mostly apathetic and content to drift through his four months. Until he meets eighteen-year-old sixth form student Jamie Scott, that is. The troubled son of a broken home, Jamie is set to awaken something Daniel thought long buried: desire. What follows is a desperate tangle of deception and danger, of friends and enemies, of sex and power games. To have the forbidden, Daniel must shed his apathy and learn how to fight again, but when lies are uncovered and livelihoods hang in the balance, it’s much easier to cut and run than to fall in love.
