THE 70 WEEK PROPHECY OF DANIEL NINE

Daniel chapter nine is often stated to be a necessary step to understanding the book of Revelation. Daniel nine is all about the coming Messiah. Unfortunately many scholars and commentators attempt to make the end of the prophecy about the antichrist. This prophecy has to do with Messiah the Prince and only the Messiah and His relationship with Jerusalem, His sanctuary and His People. There is another prince casually mentioned. However, that does not change the subject of this prophecy. The subject of this prophecy remains the Messiah the Prince. And we know this person to be Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ or the Messiah.
