NEW MADRID: The Great Crevasse

Four ex-Army Rangers have been prepping for an eventual apocalyptic event for more than two years in the mountains of Tennessee. The four friends all made a wager on exactly what the event would be, including an economic collapse of the United State's economy, a world wide pandemic, a killer asteroid, or the eruption of a fifty mile square caldera in Yellowstone National Park. Nothing the men saw in the horrors of battle in Afghanistan or Iraq could begin to compare to the actual apocalyptic event that happens in their own backyard. In the spring of 2016 the lesser known New Madrid fault line, the deepest fault line in the world erupts causing the worst earthquake in the history of mankind. The earthquake causes a 100 mile wide and 500 mile long crevasse in the heartland of the United States. The pure devastation and chaos caused by the earthquake is unparalleled, and only the strongest will survive, and it can actually happen in the near future.
