The bombs have dropped and the mushroom clouds have settled, but the true horror mankind has left behind is about to be unleashed.
Louie Finkbiner is a software security technician at the Winnipeg Disease Study Center. He's spent the last ten years of his life programming security cards, fixing broken keyboards, and taking abuse from his co-workers. Now the DSC facility is crippled, and all the employees have been trapped on the lowest subterranean level. Only Louie has access to the entire installation, and he's decided to take revenge on his tormentors.
Also in Part 3: The city has been destroyed, and survivors are gathering together. Angela, along with the Fulger twins, Michael and Amanda, are trying to make their way west, past the city limits, and out into the blasted prairie lands.
Leaving won't be easy. They are being pursued by a homicidal mall security cop, and his new friend.
As the World Ends is a serialized, on-going bi-weekly story. Individual parts will range from 9,000 to 13,000 words each.
