The modules discussed in this text comprise the key elements of OMM and OPP, including counterstain, muscle energy, myofascial release, high-velocity low-amplitude (HVLA) thrust, soft tissue, lymphatic technique, and osteopathic cranial manipulation medicine techniques.

This book was written and edited by members of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine's (AACOM) Educational Council on Osteopathic Principles (ECOP), a distinguished team of physicians and medical education professionals representing each of the nation's accredited colleges of osteopathic medicine.
