Others are lifted from a pre-existing pool of giggle-inducing stories embedded in Nigeria, and most especially in the Tiv fictional tales. Some are even true stories. It has been established that laughter is a recipe for good health and well-being. This ticket has the power against forces, human or natural, that mitigate laughing, for the power acquired supersedes every inhibiting force. The 61 stories in this book are multifaceted, multidirectional, and multidimensional, reaching far and wide into every fabric of human complexities. They are neither derogatory nor aimed at demeaning one or a group of individuals or of a particular gender. They are not intended to cast aspersions on any religious group or ideology. The style of language is polite as possible, with the exception of what is imperative for creative and prescriptive purpose and clarity. The jokes are also educational and broaden our knowledge and scope.
