India A Comprehensive Geography

The present book entitled "India-A Comprehensive Geography", is the outcome of my long teaching experience spanning over 34 years, supplemented by a long eventful innings of 27 years as an author of several books on different subjects of Geography. The primary object of writing this book is to meet the growing demand for a suitable text book for the university and college students at the post-graduate and under-graduate levels. Besides, the book will be of great value for candidates appearing in the competitive examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the State Public Service Commissions. It is also designed to cater to the needs of those who are more serious in adding to their existing knowledge of geography of India.
