Brave New World

Brave New World: In the year 1932, when Brave New World was first published, it was greeted with high praise from the critics. Reviewing this novel for the Boston Transcript, W.E. Harris called it: "A brave new experiment in the age-old trial of man to understand his universe, a universe rendered still more complex by the rise of science." Brave New World portrays our civilization as Huxley foresees it evolving six centuries into the future. It is a Utopia that has gone all wrong.
