Windows in Time

Two boys are taken out of time, one boy is saved from being murdered by Nazi's. The other boy is taken out of a hospital room after being attacked in the 2015. They are taken to 2050 and asked to be on a mission to change the future. Because of "conscious" laws starting in 2015, people are allowed to discriminate against Gays and Lesbians. It evolves to hit squads of hunters that want to murder those that are gay or lesbian. These two boys are sent back to 2008 to live 7 years in lives of 2 boys that will interact with people that can change the future. This is the first part of the story, where one of them learned sometimes not winning, makes you a winner of something more important.
