The Knight Toby

Synopsis
At the dawn of time HAWK created the five lands that made up the world and filled them full of wondrous creatures. He selected one of the creatures to be above all others and called them human. He lavished on them many great gifts, the greatest of which was a powerful mind, however conscious of its awesome power, Hawk built in a safe guard that limited humans only to access a small percent of its ability. Mankind, fuelled by an intense desire for knowledge soon developed far beyond Hawks expectations.
Out of love of his creation Hawk decided to send them a Transient, someone that would show them how to open their minds and lead them to the path of enlightenment. He chose a woman to bear his transient and she gave birth to a boy, and named him Tom. The boy grew strong and powerful and spread peace and harmony throughout the five lands, and all was well with the world.
However fate stepped in and the woman fell ill, Tom begged Hawk to save her but Hawk refused saying that it was not right to interfere with the natural order of nature. The woman died, Tom consumed with anger, turned his back on Hawk and sought his revenge on all of mankind. As a skilled Transient, Tom created a virus, called it doubt and placed it in the minds of men, it spread like wild fire giving birth to fear, anger and distrust. Man soon turned on man and wars began.
A millennium later many of Hawks wondrous creations have been destroyed and mankind has almost consumed his world
It is now time for Hawk to take back the world, before it is too late and restore its natural balance. Convinced that mankind could change, Hawk decides to give them one final chance at redemption and creates a new transient, Toby, to save them. However before Toby can save mankind he must first learn what it means to be human.
We join Toby at the start of his travels through the mystical world of Meadowland where he discovers how his mind works and how feelings and emotions govern all of his actions and choices.
Personal note:
The Knight Toby has been crafted so it can be read on varying levels. In its simplest form it is an adventure story where you join Toby on his quest to find He Who Knows all (Hawk) you will encounter a plethora of emotions cleverly disguised as fantasy creatures, on a wild and exciting journey in a race against time, before Tom can take over your mind.
However the more you read you will soon discover that the lines between fantasy and reality quickly become blurred as you start to draw parallels to your own emotions, the world we live in and the real challenges that face all of mankind
