Mo'ani's Way: Chronicles of Nahtan: Book 1 (The Herridon Chronicles)

Prophecy has called for a king to claim the throne of Herridon. But the king the gods have named is not of their making. None of them know where he came from, and they can only hope he'll have the strength to stand against the fallen god Zared and his followers.

One Goddess claims him as an adopted son. Another has hidden him among the mortals until he's ready to lead his armies against the Archbishop in Herridon. Along the way he'll make allies and enemies.

Mo'ani's Way follows Paki, a boy who was taken from his parents to pay the Archbishop's tithes. Sold into slavery, he spends the next seven years with his master until fate delivers him to Kile, the Captain of the Guard of an army of Mo'ani Warriors.

From Kile, Paki learns the truth about the cost of freedom and about the prophecy of Nahtan. He also meets Mo'ani himself; a legendary warrior tasked to train Nahtan's armies for the day the prophesied king will come and lead them to Herridon.

Book 1 in a 7 book sub-series of The Herridon Chronicles, Mo'ani's Way begins the story of the Chronicles of Nahtan. Telling the story of a king who seeks redemption for himself even as he seeks to fulfill the prophecy laid out before him.
