The Eye of Osiris

The midwife Niharet is called to the palace of Ahmose 1 in the middle of the night to deliver the child of the crown princess. This child grows to be the Pharoah Hapshetsut, and starts a dynasty that lasts a thousand years. She discovers a secret so disturbing she willing to sacrifice her happiness to seek justice for the innocent.
