Elysa had married John Bonham, the heir to the duchy of Sussex recently and she was getting used to her life in the duke’s household. But it was not as easy as she thought it would be. She struggled with the dry formality of the household and felt very lonely. However soon one of John’s closest friends and a distant cousin, Mark arrives at the Bonham household and Elysa at last finds a true friend with whom she could be free. Mark informs her about the impending ball to be hosted by the Bonhams and also informs about the arrival of another cousin who was a famous French designer.
