Description

“You’re afraid of me. I can feel it, and right now you’re thinking about how you’ll stab me in the chest. You want to do it, but your hand shakes. You’re a coward, nothing more.”
A few seconds passed and he felt Robert’s cold hands holding his own. He didn’t know how it happened. The dagger was stuck inside the young man’s chest. Robert grasped George’s hands, burying more of the dagger into his cold chest, in the spot where his heart would be. Terrified, George released the young man’s hands, and his body pressed against the nearest wall with despair on his face. His eyes seemed to pop out of their sockets. He smiled and caressed the dagger. The blood started to pour out of the wound. With a single strike, he pulled out the dagger, a red liquid staining the white shirt. The wound was just a few inches wide. Robert closed his eyes, took a long breath, and the wound healed in just a few seconds, like it never existed at all. There was only the blood stain, the only remnant of what’d happened.
“You’re like him! You didn’t kill him. You deceived me.”
“That’s right. You think I’m a monster, but there is no difference between you and me. Humans sometimes are real demons. We’re just innocent creatures compared to people like you.”
“What do you want from me?”
“Haven’t you guessed so far?”
George was sweating. Two huge white fangs were the only things he could see. Cold seized his body and he felt his life escaping from him. The pain was unbearable. His mind and body couldn’t resist much longer, and a dark cloud fell upon him. He couldn’t feel anything else. The pain had defeated him.
