Hi friends,
Summer vacations are here!
For all those who are enjoying
their summer vacations, I envy
you. No school, no studies, no
homework. Just sunny days
stretching on, to do as you please! What fun!
For me, summer vacations meant playing out
in the sun from morning to night, with only a
break in the afternoon. My cousins would come
over to stay, and on all those bored, hot
afternoons we’d invent games and have mock
fights with our elephant army (yeah, we had
these toy elephants that we absolutely adored).
For those two months, we gorged on mangoes
and ice lollies. Bliss!
