On Bella's Wings

Retired airline pilot, Dwayne Carlisle, was living his dream. He and his wife were enjoying their golden years, touring the country from a thousand feet. Their single engine, Aviat Husky airplane gave a bird’s eye view of America’s beautiful landscape and was their idea of the perfect, romantic retirement. Until Dwayne’s wife died suddenly of cancer. Dwayne’s life was shattered. In an effort to fill the void left in his soul, Dwayne decided to adopt Bella, a thirty pound, bundle of energy, Border Collie. The two quickly became best friends as Bella helped Dwayne start piecing his life back together.

One day, on what was supposed to be a relaxing flight into the backcountry, Dwayne and Bella inadvertently cross paths with a group of modern day cattle thieves as they attempt to steal a prized rodeo bull from a local ranch. Dwayne and Bella find themselves right in the gang’s crosshairs. Just as order starts to be restored to Dwayne’s life, his world is thrown into a chaos he could never have seen coming.
