Revenge of the shadow witch: A dark fantasy

The bells rang through out the kingdom of Ecrya. The people of Ecrya where in the mood to celebrate for the people of Ecrya would finally get the royal wedding that had been longing for.

Prince Daruis would finally be married; the people of Ecrya could hardly contain their excitement.

Cyrene seemed to be only person in all of Ecrya who wasn’t looking forward to the celebration. If any thing Cyrene had envision her self being married to prince Daruis.

As far as she was concern he was the only person she ever loved. Cyrene couldn’t even see her self with a another man. And because she was born a slave she could not marry the prince. The law stated that no woman or man born into slavery could marry a person who was born of royal blood.

Thought out the kingdom Cyrene was known to be a kept woman. She was treated better than most slaves. But it didn’t matter. She dreamed of being a queen that seemed to be the only thing that satisfied her.
