Sun Tzu's Art of War

The Art of War is one of the most highly regarded military treatises ever written. Created more than two thousand years ago by a Chinese military commander, strategist and philosopher named Sun Tzu, this masterpiece is a must read among Chinese generals and rulers for generations. It was included in the Seven Military Classics during the Song Dynasty (960 AD to 1279 AD) and became required reading for all Chinese military commanders.

The book is composed of 13 chapters, each devoted to one aspect of warfare. The teachings expounded in the book have found application not only in a military context, but also in other realms, such as business management and politics.
