It Came From the Woods
Description
Two sailors hauled a load of freight from Charleston, South Carolina to Manaus, Brazil. On their way out of the Amazon Rainforest, they dropped their nets and accidentally hauled a bigfoot aboard. Thinking they could sell it in Florida, they locked the disoriented animal in the hold. A tropical storm off the coast of the Eastern Seaboard disables the trawler, and the sailors release the animal at the point the ship is sinking not wanting it to wash up on a sandbar with a dead bigfoot inside. Running loose and far from home, the bigfoot seeks safety in a cave where a young woman comes face to face with it while picking berries. Fleeing down the road with her berries, she knows she has to make the greatest decision of her life; call the authorities and have the creature destroyed or somehow lure it into the deep woods and safety.
