The Lost Legends of the Black Sea: A Foreigner's Journey into the Heart of Odessa

A Foreigner has been living in Odessa, Ukraine, and finally decides to go the famed Opera House. It's the Saturday night before Easter, and, rather than a relaxing and enlightening cultural experience, he has several encounters with locals who enthusiastically reveal the Lost Legends of the Black Sea. The Foreigner misses the opera, but his adventure and life truly begins, and a metaphysical awakening transpires. He explores Odessa, its denizens and lore, and eventually floats to Crimea and Istanbul, before flowing back to Odessa. Part modern One Thousand and One Nights with a dash of Siddhartha, the tales which are divulged and coerced comment on the mores of modern society, the inherent flaws in culture, and the joy of truly living in the moment. Join the Foreigner as he goes from lost wanderer to joining the Black Sea, and the flow of life.
