Last night, where gunshots ran wild outside and the Nazis searched home after home with unexpected visits, I was laying underneath the floorboards of my neighbor's (a rescuer) house. I was freezing, shivering like my little sister who seemed dead if it weren't for her soft unwilling pulse, and my father was shedding tears as if he had caused the abomination outside. But it seems that I have awoken on a train. The cold, metal walls are covered in red roses that stretch all around me. And at the end of the compartment is a door. The door ominously stares back at me and begs me to open it. I am terribly afraid and I have no idea how I have gotten here. That door continues to tempt me and I dare to imagine what lies behind it.
