Strange is the Night

One day after a thunderstorm, Robert Gwinnet looks down at a mud puddle and sees something that changes his life forever: a vast and empty city reflected back at him from the dirty water. Later that same night, he sees the angels for the first time.

As the years pass, he learns there are things inhabiting his strange world that are so grotesque his sanity begins to splinter, but he can never look away. It is all around him, it waits in every reflective surface, whispering, beckoning. Threatening.

Despite how it makes him feel, Robert can’t shake the eerie feeling that he belongs there. That the alien world wants him. All he needs to do is pray for the angels to carry him home…
