Sometimes I Wonder (Life, Thoughts, and Poetry Book 2)
Description
This is my second collection of poems. I hope it takes you places you might not have gone otherwise.
**You--***
If I could
I might be
complete
only myself
but I cannot
For we interchange
ideas
flip through
problems
By myself
I am not true
I mean
I would have lost
my other half
But when I am
sparks sprinkle
down from the heavens
into my eyes
For there you stand
hand in hand
going forward
through time
till we reach
infinity
Our destination
is deluded
for we can never reach it
I know
though
we will look like
we made it
***An Adventure***
Me and some friends decided that
We need to have an adventure,
So we drove 4 hours north
In a 90's Audi.
The drive was interesting
Covered lots of gravel
Finally we got there
(where we were going, that is)
We camped the first night
By a river
But tomorrow we would hike
That river
Tomorrow the sun rose
We got out of bed
And headed straight up the river
We had to wade in and out of the water
Which at times was waist deep
It took us a couple hours but
We got to our destination
(we didn't have a destination)
It was definitely one hell of an adventure
Felt like it was straight out of the new world
And I would do it again
But I like the indoors too
***Addiction***
My brain
is wired
Hooked up
They say
Tobacco
Is fire
That fills
The space
Between my
lungs
It fuels
My poetry
like salmon fuel
bears
but bears
Can't write
poetry.
