The Prophet's Price: Prophet and Dragon Chronicles II
Description
It has been many years since Ar’ked, the prophet of Ya’havay, slew Ish’kiel the dragon in the streets of the ancient city of Resh. Now he has been called to a distant and barbarous land to teach the savage Sotori tribesmen about Ye’su and His victory over the dragons. Empowered by the Divine Fire and his loving wife, Ar’ked leaves his mother, his home, and the church family he has grown to know and love.
In the strange grasslands of the Sotori, Ar’ked faces not only the vast cultural differences between his people and the barbarian tribes, but he will be matched up against dragon priests still carrying on their ancient blood-rites, a savage marauder with dark powers, a haunted ruin, and a pirate that may or may not turn out to be a friend. All this while trying to stop a dark plot to allow the dragons return. Yet none of these are his greatest trial. Will an unbearable tragedy triumph over the young evangelist’s faith? Will the price of obeying his god be too high for the prophet to pay?
