This is a "The Fatal Gender Swap" series story in which the swap of genders inevitably occurs. "The Animal in Me" is a future SciFi in which Babel, an attractive trans-human female character plays the most important role together with Leona, a lioness-looking transhuman who is Babel's lesbian partner.
[Background and Main Characters]
In a future society technology and biological engineering reshaped human life. The Earth is not divided anymore to nations or races but to subcultural groups. Many people are trans-humans, and are treated as second-class citizens, since they are technologically or genetically modified. The Purity Party has a majority in the current government, led by President Yceberg, who believes in the sacredness of the body. The question is: how far he’d go to prove his point?
Babel Miles is a 28 years old, trans-human cyborg who is fierce in behavior and pro-tech in her appearances. She has a lesbian partner, Leona who has an important position within the Trans-Human organization.
Theo Ruby was the Head of Security at the Purity Party. Right after elections, he gets infected with a mysterious virus which was deteriorating his body fast: within days he becomes paralyzed, unable to speak and on the very edge of death.
Leona is a strong, confident woman, a giant cross-breed hybrid between a lion and a tiger, called liger, so she has very distinctive looks. She is the leader of the Trans-Humans.
Yceberg is the leader of the Purity Party and the president of the country.
