Shay knows that things have gotten too far out far out of control. What had started out as a simple mission to seek revenge against her son's father (for cheating on her while she had been away in prison) had now evolved into something much more complicated and tricky. Never in a million years had she anticipated getting tangled up in the middle of a bloody street war. And never in a trillion years had she anticipated catching feelings for the charismatic, shot-calling gangster at the center of all the drama.
But as the saying goes, pressure makes diamonds. Shay is not about to bow down to the circumstances. After all, gangsterism runs deep in her DNA. The more the doubters and haters try to break her, the more she adapts and conforms to the many twists and turns that come her way.
In the end, Shay realizes that she may have to compromise some of her morals and principles in order to achieve what she wants to. However, Shay's willingness to compromise does have its limits...and for those foolish enough to keep testing those limits, Shay is more than willing to earn her respect the hard way...the Boss Bitch way.
