📖 Description
Emily Goodson is two things. One of them is an art expert. Her sister, Lynette, asks her to take a job with a small company that buys and sells paintings.
She finds a small company in an uproar. The president Reynard Latrec is wonderful, very courteous and proper. Reynard employs a chef and a technician. The chef says very little but he’s pleasant. The technician, Mignon Budreau, throws tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants. She wants the chef, Alain Lefevre. He doesn’t seem interested. She has a tantrum that goes past what Alain will tolerate. He throws her over his shoulder and takes her to the bedroom. She doesn’t resist but makes him work to gain an intimate relationship with her.
Emily and Reynard begin a slow courtship which shows promise. Except, Lynette isn’t just a sister. She’s a Narcotics Detective with the LAPD and Emily isn’t just an art expert. She works part time with the LAPD Reserves. Lynette tells Emily to keep her weapon with her all the time. Reynard and a shadowy drug kingpin have been meeting with each other.
Will Reynard be a good guy or a bad? Does Emily have a future with him?
