Beyond The Tipping Point: The second novel in a four part saga about federal tyranny, heartland rebellion, and the rebirth of freedom under a new form of government

As the 2028 presidential election nears, the detested White House incumbent, Jay Palma, is desperate for a second term and will do anything to get it, even if it requires fraud, blackmail, and murder. With his popular running mate, Al Morse, absent from public view, Palma must counter increasingly serious challenges from DC rivals sensing a vacuum. Domestically, federal authority is being defied in the heartland states and particularly by Texas, which has outmaneuvered Palma to successfully launch its own gold-backed currency. Overseas, Palma has overcommitted a hollowed-out U.S. military to defending Oman and countering a muscular Iran. In the Caribbean, the Chinese are about to inaugurate a profound shift in world power with the opening of New Beijing, an artificial island boasting a world class commercial port and banking center as well as a major military base. A distracted electorate hooked on federal handouts and diverted by tech toys, sex, and drugs does not seem to see or care that its comfortable world is flirting with collapse.

Against this grim backdrop, honorable and courageous people still exist, from soldiers preparing for deployment abroad to a compromised Secretary of the Treasury finding his integrity after losing it long ago. The only question is whether the good in the rest of the nation can reawaken in time to save the United States of America from looming destruction.
