The Party sent agents to confiscate his ranch. It would become one of many federal housing facilities for those faithful to The Party. His case was not unique. All over the nation, millions of acres of private land were being seized, repurposed and redistributed.
There was nothing he could to do to stop the seizure. But there was plenty he would do about it.
