The story tells how a victim of abuse can go on to become the abuser, how somebody who once lived in fear, chose to create terror. Getting married to Bret David was laurenia lee's happiest day of her life, she thought he was her perfect man, but little did she know what lay ahead of her.
Leaving Brett would prove to be the easy part, and nothing could of prepared her for what would happen when he found her. With the help of his friend, Bret is determined to track his wife down and to take her back to thier home.
Many strong characters make up this novel and the story twists and turns to a climax that can only result in death. The end of life should mean that one's pain is over, but when some memories are passed on, the pain can become even more crippling and the outcome can be beyond what the human mind will ever truly understand.
In life, sometimes only the strength of the heart and mind can keep you strong, in death only your spirit can save your soul.
