The X-Troop Collection: Books 1-5

The X-Troop Collection contains all five stories in the X-Troop series. Follow Alex Harvey and his elite team as they track down alien infiltrators through the backstreets of England, the jungles of Guatemala and the frozen wastes of Canada. Hidden among the human population, the genetically engineered aliens have plans that could doom humanity, and only X-Troop, with their own genetic enhancements, can stop them. But with alien masterminds and shadowy government organisations to contend with too, Alex knows the odds are stacked against his team, because nothing is quite what it seems.

X-Troop 1: Amped
England, 2051. Alex Harvey is a washed up SAS trooper, thrown out of the army and dumped on the streets of a country that is coming apart at the seams. Jobs are scarce and a black market in performance enhancing drugs and illegal cage fighting is thriving. Alex may be out of work, but his quest for that adrenaline high keeps him thirsting for the next challenge, the next fight. He’ll compete in any sport and take any drug in order to win.

So when he’s approached by a strange gentleman and offered the mother of all enhancements, he’s more than tempted.

But in order to be accepted for the treatment, he’s got to agree to a peculiar assignment: to hunt down the toughest, fastest foe he’s ever encountered. In half the continents of the world, Alex has pitted himself against a variety of combatants, but this will be the first time he’s gone up against something that’s not of this world at all. Pretty soon he’ll find that winning is the least of his problems. When the stakes are shooting off the scale, it’s going to take all his skill just to survive.


X-Troop 2: Assembled
Alex has assembled X-Troop, an elite team of private military operatives, but amid the corruption and decay of a post-industrial England, they’re struggling to fund their operations against the hidden alien threat. Not that it normally bothers Alex. As an ex-SAS trooper, he’s used to getting by with the bare minimum. But when he stumbles across clues that point to a possible secret alien base, even he has to concede that this is a task beyond the capabilities of himself and his team.
They’re going to need help. Government help.

And that’s when their troubles really begin.


X-Troop 3: The Tollon Codex
Deep in the Guatemalan jungle, a mystery lurks. UFOs have been sighted over the highlands, and terrifying assassins with supernatural powers are said to stalk the villas and plantations of the rich.

Alex and his team have tracked down alien infiltrators across half the world, but they’ve never encountered anything like this, and they’ll need more than military skill and superhuman implants to execute this mission.


X-Troop 4: Bunker 51
Deep under the Nevada desert, there’s a top secret research facility where something has gone seriously wrong. Communications have been severed from within, and anyone sent in to investigate disappears.

When Alex Harvey gets the call to check it out, he’s immediately suspicious. He knows the Federal authorities aren’t giving him the full story, and he’s not about to trust them with the lives of his team.

What he doesn’t know is just how badly he’s been lied to. Bunker 51 is more than just a research facility, and X-Troop are about to find themselves in way over their heads.


X-Troop 5: Arctic Run
In the Arctic wilderness of Canada, a US military transport crashes in a lake. There are no survivors and no bodies are found. The authorities conclude the plane was empty, and as the cold winds of winter begin to blow, they abandon their investigation.

Alex Harvey knows that the plane wasn't empty. Knows, in fact, that the plane contained a deadly secret. Nobody believes him, but when the power goes down in the nearby town of Greyknife, it's left to Alex to not only warn them of the danger, but to save them from it too.
