Love Notes From Hell While Dancing On The Moon: A book of spoken word poetry and essays

Chronicling the life of a sheltered nineteen year old boy, forced to leave home, stability, and his beloved mother, with more than a taste of an impending family crisis, to the streets of San Francisco's Mission district in the mid 1990's, rocked with gangs, drugs, and alcohol, in which was looked upon by many of his cohorts, as good times. From a life saving move to Orlando, Florida to began college, and understand what it meant to be young again, to a final destination of New York City, where he dealt with his ongoing battle with mental illness, which manifested into an unforgettable breakdown, in which many till this day can, and will not forget. Battling through the trauma of a physical health dilemma, one that would make him attain the skills to re-create his own life, we are able to understand through these passages of spoken word and essays, how he was able to start anew, and the reader is also able to not only appreciate, but rather sympathize, with his ongoing struggle of the definition of man.
