A Letter from De Sade

For over two hundred years the letter has lain undiscovered, hidden at the bottom of a box of old books, until one day it finds its way into the unsuspecting hands of a young shop assistant, Celeste de Beavoir. As soon as she sees the signature at the bottom, she realises that the letter she holds in her hand is something quite out of the ordinary: a love letter from the notorious Marquis de Sade to his young lover and disciple, Louis de Courvillion, pleading with him to leave his wife and come back to him.
As more of the story unfolds, Celeste finds herself plunged deeper and deeper into a nightmare world of intrigue, torture and murder, until eventually she finds that she is left with only one way out...
