Rebekah Young grew up in a small church town, the eldest daughter of a very religious couple. But despite her bible study and perfect attendance at Sunday Mass, Rebekah’s life took an unforeseen turn when she began a new career as an escort in her small town of Crestwood, Oklahoma. At first, her job consisted of accompanying grown men to parties and keeping them company during her weekends, the ability to keep herself chaste an instant draw for the teenaged girl. But things took a dangerous turn when one of her repeat customers, an ex-con by the name of Tom, takes it a little too far one night.

When she tells her parents about what’s happened to her, they refuse to believe her and instead call her a whore and a sinner for telling such lies. Rebekah stays in Crestwood only for as long as it takes her turn eighteen and then flees Crestwood with nothing but the clothes on her back and the money she’s made as an escort, a career she hopes to never return to again.

Soon enough, she find her way to Denver, Colorado—a place she’s always dreamed of visiting—certain that Tom, who repeated his horrible crime on her again and again, will not be able to find her there. She changes her name from Rebekah Young to Bailey Henderson in the hopes that nobody from her old life will be able to find her there and makes more friends than she ever dreamed possible.

She finds romance with one of the local boys, Henry Parker, as he teaches her how to snowboard and they each open up about their individual dark pasts, learning to trust each other with their deepest, darkest secrets.

But just as Bailey begins to feel safe again, somebody from her past shows up—another escort by the name of Naomi—and her presence threatens to reveal Bailey’s true identity. Especially when she learns that Naomi was followed there with an even darker figure from Bailey’s past; one she can’t hide from.
