Not All Clowns Are Funny

Before I begin, let me set the stage for you. Growing up, I had a pastor as a dad and a special education teacher as a mom. Because my dad was a pastor, we moved around a lot. In addition to his preaching at churches, he was also a band director, gave private musical lessons, and was a magician. My mom always followed my dad around searching for a job wherever we landed. With her being a special education teacher, it was not hard for her to find one. My mom took an early retirement several years ago and decided that if my dad was a magician performing at parties, she should do something that would complement that. That is when she decided to go to school and become a clown. Whenever my dad had a magic gig, my mom was his side kick clown. What you will soon come to find out is not all clowns are funny.
