Ibn Sina

“Ibn Sina” is a short story about an ill young prince whose idiopathic illness was a mystery for many physicians during the High Middle Ages. Ibn Sina was one of the then doctors who embarked upon the prince’s treatment. This story explains one of the strategies and tactics of his treatment. In fact, Ibn Sina is a book of four short stories such as “Ibn Sina,” “In Search of True Love,” “The Monstrous Storm,” and “The woman Who Wished to Be a Singer.”

Ibn Sina was a polymath who wrote 450 books. His two famous works are The Book of Healing: a philosophic and scientific encyclopedia, and The Canon of Medicine: a medical encyclopedia, which was taught in many medieval universities.
