The Not So Plain and Simple Life of Samantha Hoffman (Women of God: Lancaster County Book 1)

Little did Samantha Edgerton know when she spent the summer with her great grandmother and fell in love with Benjamin Hoffman, her grandmother's farmhand, that a year later she'd be married to him, leaving her Englischer life behind forever, and become fully immersed in the 'plain' and 'simple' life of being a Mennonite farmer's wife. She had read stories growing up about the Amish and Mennonite people and looked forward to living in their quiet, idyllic existence. But now after being married for six years with a growing family and in debt following some catastrophic events in her life, she had to learn to rely on God and her close knit family and community to see her through.
