Experimental Wife: Life With Stick and Rudder
Description
"Quiet," my husband is shouting. "I want your mother to hear this."
Our All-American family of four is gathered in front of the television set watching the TV news.
"Remember in high school," the newscaster said, "when many of us had to take woodworking and could barely whittle out an ashtray? Tonight we'll meet a man who built an airplane in his house. With one problem - the plane is in the basement and they've got to figure out how to get it out."
That's just the first of many adventures (and harrowing mis-adventures) for Lee and Sandy, a couple who dared to follow their dream of building their own plane and crisscrossing the country.
