Marine Corps Heroes: Volume VI: Silver Star - World War II (L - Z)

Volume VI of "Marine Corps Heroes" contains some basic history of the Silver Star Medal. The book contains the citations for the more than 1,600 awards of the Silver Star to Marines in the Korean War with biographical information on the recipients. Appendixes include tables of recipients of the Silver Star in Korea by Rank, by Unit, as well as those recipients who attended the Military Academies. Also included is a State-by-State listing of Recipients by Home Town.
