Music of the Sea

Lavinia Porter hasn't come all the way from Javelina, Arizona, to the wild northern California coast expecting to fall in love; she comes in search of family records. Vin is immediately befriended by handsome, be-dimpled Rick McKinney, who always seems to be rescuing her from some predicament. What a stark contrast between the easygoing Rick and the mysterious recluse, O'Neil, with his powerful magnetism, his stone mansion on the headland, and his captivating music.

"Music of the Sea" celebrates love and family. Vin has a family mission: To organize a mountain of family records and photos belonging to distant cousin Walter Keester, an old man who lives in a dreary cottage devoid of love and beauty, shrouded with painful memories. How could Vin ever imagine she would be thrown into a riptide of emotion, temptation, and mystery?

Vin's faith, built on the broad shoulders of her pioneer ancestors, is tested, strengthened, and shared. And ultimately, she discovers that family history is much more than names on yellowing pages and faces on faded photographs.
