Newly risen to Queen of Dohr, Claire's first decree is to order the release of all Royal owned slaves. Despite the support from her reptilian alien lover, King Eliam, the decree is met with cries of outrage from some of the Royals. Claire is convinced that she's doing what's right, but it isn't long before an assassin is hired to kill the King. Although he fails, the danger is still very real.

Tracking the assassin down, Claire learns that he's been hired to kill not only the King, but Claire as well. With the help of the gruff Captain Russell Redd, Claire discovers a secretive group of aliens who know who hired the assassin. To get the information she desires, however, she must use her body to pleasure a group of the monk's most well-endowed members. But will the information she finds be what she desires? Can she save not only the King, but herself as well? And if she does, is she ready for the consequences it will bring?
