The Lost Legion (The Perion Chronicles Book 1)

Prince Valkar Perion is returning from defeating a rebellion against the Aldragon Empire when he is ambushed by an ancient enemy of the Empire. He and his legion are imprisoned in an extra-dimensional prison, until they break out and claim the prison for their own. After several years in the prison Valkar and his legion find a way to escape back to the Empire to find that it is over three hundred years later. Knowing that there are traitors within the Empire Valkar must leave his legion behind and fight to gain entry into the Empress' service without knowledge of his true identity getting out. Meanwhile his legion must defeat a demonic army bent on their destruction.
